About Us | Coalition Committees
The Coalition has developed committees to coordinate its activities. They include:
Responsible for planning and executing consistent quality programming for the BIO IT Coalition with interesting and compelling presenters and content for monthly meetings, annual conferences and special events. The committee will arrange for meeting venues and will deal with logistics, such as catering and photography to ensure a smooth and professional presentation. Committee members will interact with speakers, prepare meeting summaries and coordinate with other committees in order to bring about successful events.
Responsible for (a) increasing the membership base of the BIO IT Coalition by working closely with the Marketing Committee on a variety of promotional efforts and (b) developing alliance relationships with organizations with complementary missions. The committee will also attract sponsors for the Coalition and its programs through the use of its membership base.
Responsible for developing strategies to build membership. Will create collateral materials such as a newsletter, advertising and membership/sponsorship benefit packages. Will develop PR promotions and relationships. Will manage and monitor member relations in Corporate, Association Alliance, Individual, Government and Student Membership categories.
- Communications/Information Management
Responsible for the development, production, storage, access and dissemination, and analysis of Coalition information. Works closely with the Marketing, Programming, and Membership committees to assure that a consistent and cohesive BIO IT Coalition message is maintained and distributed in a timely and efficient manner .
Provides administrative support to the BIO IT Coalition in the areas of finance, human resources, and administrative services.
